SriLanka, Sept. 23 -- Sri Lanka should move beyond economic stability and focus on achieving sustained, accountable and inclusive economic growth, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya said during a meeting with an IMF delegation at Parliament yesterday (22).

IMF Mission Chief for Sri Lanka Evan Papageorgiou and other IMF representatives met the Prime Minister to discuss Sri Lanka's experience and progress under the IMF-supported programme, with particular attention to the seventh review.

Dr. Amarasuriya highlighted the progress made in managing the economy despite a series of external shocks and reaffirmed the Government's commitment to maintaining economic stability and strengthening the country's resilience.
