Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- The Asia Rugby Emirates 7s Series will kick off its first round today, Saturday, September 20, in China and will conclude tomorrow, Sunday. Sri Lanka will be in action in both the men's and women's tournaments with busy schedules on the opening day.

The Sri Lanka women's team will face hosts China in their first match at 6.52 am, before meeting Malaysia at 10.54 am. Their final game of the day will be against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at 3.18 pm.

The Sri Lanka men's team will begin their campaign against powerful Japan at 9.48 am, followed by a clash with Thailand at 1.50 pm. They will wrap up their first day against Singapore at 6.14 pm. The Sri Lanka squad will be led by centre Kavindu Perera as captain. Ot...
