Sri Lanka seeks bigger share of India's gem and jewellery market
Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- Sri Lanka is stepping up efforts to expand its gem and jewellery exports to India through a high-level business delegation aimed at strengthening bilateral trade, investment and industry partnerships.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), with the support of the Sri Lankan High Commission in New Delhi and Consulate in Mumbai, the delegation is visiting India from August 8 to 13, bringing together senior officials, industry associations and leading gem and jewellery companies.
