Srilanka, Oct. 11 -- Sri Lanka has officially launched its first-ever AI-powered tourism hotel project, Grand Serendib Colombo, marking a milestone in the nation's hospitality and technology sectors.

The project was inaugurated under the patronage of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath at a ceremony held at Shangri-La Colombo on Friday (10).

The launch event also coincided with the 20th anniversary celebration of ABEC Group, the developer behind the initiative.

Joining Minister Herath at the inauguration were Sri Lanka National Cricket Team Head Coach Sanath Jayasuriya and Dilip K. Herath representing ABEC Premier.
