Sri Lanka promoted as a year-round destination for Russian tourism
Sri Lanka, June 23 -- Sri Lanka participated successfully in the VI International Tourism Forum "Let's Travel! 2026"held from June 10-14 at the VDNH Exhibition Complex in Moscow.
The Sri Lankan delegation to the event, one of the largest for tourism promotion in the Russian Federation, was led by Tourism Deputy Minister Prof. Ruwan Ranasinghe, and included nine Sri Lankan Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
The Russian Federation's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, with Ranasinghe, inaugurated the Sri Lanka pavilion and had a very engaging discussion on modern tourism trends.
