Sri Lanka, Aug. 19 -- Sri Lanka's young swimmers will dive into the international pool today (Tuesday) when they begin their campaign at the Junior World Swimming Championship 2025 in Romania, an event that will run until August 24.

The 14-member squad arrived in Romania last week and had three solid days of training before the championship. Team leader, coaches and swimmers alike believe that these sessions were vital for the team to adjust to the competition pool, recover from travel fatigue and fine-tune their race skills. The early training block has given the squad confidence that they can perform at their very best when racing begins.
