Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- Sri Lanka made a significant contribution to the III International Buddhist Forum, held in the Republic of Kalmykia, Russian Federation, with co-sponsorship from Moscow State University (MSU) and the Government of Kalmykia.
A 15-member Sri Lankan delegation, including the Counselor of the Embassy, Mihiravi Dissanayake, Buddhist monks, and scholars from the Universities of both Sri Jayewardenepura and Kelaniya together with the Gampaha Wickramaarachchi University, participated in various sessions addressing Buddhism, Culture, Philosophy and Practice.
