Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- Under the direction of the Commander of the Army, the Directorate of Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, in collaboration with the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), conducted a Medical Camp yesterday (21) for disabled, retired personnel, as part of a series of ongoing Medical programmes at the Headquarters of the 58 Infantry Division, Puttalam. The initiative aimed to address the Healthcare needs of Army veterans in the Puttalam District.
Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, Commander of the Army, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, together with Mrs Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit.
