Sri Lanka, Nov. 4 -- The Government will award the contract to construct the Sampoor solar power grid substation and extend the Kappalthurei solar power grid substation as a joint venture between Ceylex Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. and Xingneng Electric Power Construction Co. Ltd.
Cabinet spokesman and Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said 'Cabinet approved the proposal submitted by the Energy Minister. The contract is valued at US$ 4.15 million, 0.78 million and Rs. 1,096.08 million, excluding taxes'.
