Sri Lanka, May 28 -- A special meeting was held recently at the Ministry of Science and Technology between the Minister of Science, Technology and Research, Prof. Chrishantha Abeysena, and the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, Major General (Retd.) Nayyar Naseer.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) already signed between Sri Lanka's Ministry of Science, Technology and Research and Pakistan's Ministry of Science and Technology on cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation was recalled at the meeting. Both sides expressed their willingness to further strengthen cooperation between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the fields of Technology and Innovation.
