Sri Lanka, Aug. 19 -- The Sea phase of the 12th edition of the Sri Lanka-India Naval Exercise (SLINEX-25) commenced on Sunday (17), in western waters off Colombo.
The Sea phase features the participation of 2 Indian Navy vessels, the Tanker-class INS Jyoti and the Destroyer-class INS Rana, alongside SLNS Vijayabahu and SLNS Sayura of the Sri Lanka Navy. SLINEX is aimed at enhancing cooperation and fostering tactical interoperability between the 2 Navies through a series of coordinated operational exercises.
