Sri Lanka, Feb. 27 -- The Board of Trustees of the Lalith Athulmudali Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund (MTF) has launched a one-time special scholarship program to support university students impacted by the devastating effects of Cyclone Ditwah, which struck the island late last year.

The initiative, announced by the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security, and Cooperative Development, aims to provide vital financial relief to students struggling to continue their higher education in the wake of the disaster.

Applications for this special relief program are now open. Eligible students can download the application forms and find detailed instructions through the official Mahapola website: www.mahapola.lk.
