Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- Sri Lanka have recalled former national sevens captain Srinath Sooriyabandara for the second leg of the Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series, set to be played this weekend (October 18-19) at the Racecourse Stadium in Colombo.
The 36-year-old, who currently plays for Kandy Sports Club, is a versatile player capable of playing fullback and scrum-half. Known for his speed and tactical awareness, Sooriyabandara led Kandy SC to last year's cup victory and brings valuable experience to the national squad.
