Sri Lanka, July 21 -- The National Movement for Consumer Rights Protection (NMCRP) is demanding that all ingredients used in the production of Soap be mentioned on the relevant product packaging.

NMCRP President Ranjith Withanage, is urging the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to issue a new Gazette, making it mandatory for all Soap manufacturers to clearly list every ingredient on their product packaging, to ensure consumer safety and informed purchasing.

This request builds upon a recently issued CAA Gazette that sets packaging rules for Soap products manufactured or imported into the country.
