Sri Lanka Transport Board Chairman Sajeewa Kanakaratne said that this is the highest revenue recorded in the history of the SLTB during a festive season.

He said that the Sri Lanka Transport Board had implemented two categories of bus services for the New Year season, which are from Colombo to other areas and from outstations to Colombo, and that the relevant record revenue was earned using the existing bus fleet under the out-of-Colombo service plan.
