Sri Lanka, April 29 -- Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that President Shammi Silva has tendered his resignation from the post with immediate effect, according to a statement released today (29).Sri Lanka Tourism

The release also states that all office bearers and members of the SLC Executive Committee have submitted their resignations alongside the president.

Sri Lanka Cricket said the decision has been formally communicated to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage.
