SL pursuing RCEP entry - Trade Ministry
Sri Lanka, June 10 -- The Trade Ministry is establishing its readiness of Sri Lanka through several channels to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) which consist of 15 countries, Trade Ministry Secretary K.A. Vimalenthirajah told the recently held roundtable discussion themed 'Sri Lanka's Pathway to RCEP and the Emerging Global Trading Order' organised by Pathfinder Foundation.
Sri Lanka is actively accelerating its compliance efforts to join the 15-nation RECEP having submitted its required accession questionnaire in early 2026.
