Sri Lanka, May 29 -- Germany's Economic Affairs and Energy Ministry Director and Head of Division (External Economic Policy covering South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania) Tobias Pierlings met Prime Minister's Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri at the Prime Minister's Office to discuss avenues for strengthening economic co-operation between Sri Lanka and Germany yesterday.

The Prime Minister's Secretary expressed appreciation for the continued support and co-operation extended by the German Government toward Sri Lanka's development and economic progress.
