Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- In a completely unexpected outcome, the Under-16 Girls' Football Team of Siri Seevali Maha Vidyalaya, Kalutara, created a new milestone by defeating the renowned and football-famous St. John's College, Kalutara Under-16 Girls' Team by an impressive three goals to nil (3-0).

The victory came during the Kalutara District Round of the All-Island Under-16 Girls' Football Championship 2025, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association, and held recently at the Panadura Army Grounds. The outstanding performance of the Siri Seevali team has captured the attention of many across the district.
