Sri Lanka, April 10 -- The Sinharaja Forest Management Office said that the main entrance to the World Heritage Sinharaja Forest at Kudawa will be closed for six days from today April 10 until April 16.
Sinharaja Forest Controller S. D. Nimal said that the Sinharaja Forest will be closed for six days due to the New Year holidays and that the main entrance to the forest will be re-opened to tourists as usual 16 April. Therefore, tourists who come through the Kudawa entrance during those days will not be able to visit the Sinharaja Forest, he said.
