Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- Sri Lanka's national champion and number one ranked female squash player Chanithma Sinaly powered her way into the semi-final on the third day of the Reliance PSA Challenge Championship 2025, organised by Sri Lanka Squash, at the Air Force Squash Complex in Ratmalana yesterday.

Second seed Sinaly outplayed Japan's eighth seed Ryoko Kadota by 3-1 in a fast-paced 29-minute quarter-final of the Women's 3K Challenger.

The Sri Lankan star took the opening set 11-6, but Kadota fought back strongly to edge the second set 12-10. Sinaly then raised her game to dominate the next two sets, winning 11-5 and 11-4 to seal the match.
