Sri Lanka, April 21 -- The 19-year-old left hander Sharujan Shanmuganathan scored his career best first class knock of 145 while skipper Janith Liyanage hit 134 as team Colombo declared their first innings at 434 for 9 wickets in their NSL 4 day cricket fixture played at Dambulla Stadium yesterday. Kandy were six for no loss at close of the second day.
Sharujan hit 10 fours and a six in his 338-ball innings also added 232 runs fifth wicket stand with Janith Liyanage who scored 134 in 247 balls with 13 fours. Sharujan further put on 131 runs sixth wicket stand with Kavija Gamage who scored 80 in 121 balls with 14 fours.
