Sri Lanka, July 1 -- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will hold an investor forum on July 9 as part of an islandwide programme aimed at increasing investor participation.
The forum, which will be conducted in English, will take place at 5.30 pm on the CSE trading floor on Level 4 of the World Trade Centre (WTC), Colombo 1. Registration will be from 5.00 pm to 5.30 pm. Participation is free and the event is open to individuals interested in investing in the stock market or through unit trusts.
Representatives from stockbroker firms and unit trust management companies will be available on Level 3 of the World Trade Centre from 9.00 am and on the CSE trading floor from 5.00 pm to assist prospe...
