Sri Lanka, July 14 -- The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) have reported strong investor interest at the first in a new series of countrywide investor forums, with more than 180 participants attending the inaugural sessions held on June 25 and July 9 Conducted in Sinhala and English on the iconic CSE trading floor, the forums drew a large number of first-time investors who interacted with officials from the SEC, CSE, Unit Trust Association and leading stockbroking firms while exploring investment opportunities in Sri Lanka's capital market.
