According to Russian Ambassador in Colombo, Levan S.Dzhagaryan Russian tourists travelling to Sri Lanka are compelled to carry cash or utilise cards from third countries for transactions outside of Russia.
"We are working to establish direct cooperation between the Central Banks of Sri Lanka and Russia to enable Russian tourists to spend more while in Sri Lanka," he said.
