Sri Lanka, Aug. 13 -- A major development programme worth Rs. 11,000 million is currently underway at the Badulla Teaching Hospital, Deputy Health Minister Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni said.
The Deputy Minister made these remarks at the Management Committee meeting of the Badulla Teaching Hospital, held yesterday (12) at the hospital auditorium with the participation of officials from the Health and Mass Media Ministry. The hospital provides tertiary-level specialist care to over 1.5 million people in the Uva Province.
