Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- The Government on Monday (18) decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1 million per individual, to young persons leaving institutional care centers, enabling them to build stable and safe homes as they prepare for marriage, Cabinet Spokesman and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa announced. He explained that this facility will be available to young men and women over 18 who do not have a secure home, are married or planning to marry, and have left institutional care within the past 10 years (after June 30, 2015).
