Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- Royal College Colombo underlined their reputation as the powerhouse of school diving by winning the boys' overall national championship for a record 24th consecutive year, while St Bridget's Convent Colombo regained the girls' title after 14 years at the 49th National Aquatic Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) at the Sugathadasa Aquatic Complex in Colombo.
Royal College stamped their authority with a commanding 61 points to take the boys' crown. S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia finished runners-up with 22 points, while Thurstan College secured third place with 20 points. Colombo International School also impressed in individual events.
