Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- Following the declaration of the Ayyappa Swamimars' pilgrimage as a holy journey, a special discussion regarding the pilgrimage was held at the Kalyana Murugan Mandapam on Chettiyar Street, Colombo on Monday (18).

The event, chaired by Ravi Guruswami, featured Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources Minister Ramalingam Chandrasekar, as the Chief Guest. Plantation and Community Infrastructure Deputy Minister Sundaralingam Pradeep was the Guest of Honour, along with dignitaries including Hindu Religious Affairs Department's V. A. Aniruthan.

The discussion attracted a large turnout of Ayyappa-affiliated organisations, guru swamis and members of Ayyappan-related groups from across the country. During the event, Swamimar...
