Sri Lanka, Aug. 26 -- Colombo National Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Rukshan Bellana has recommended that former President Ranil Wickremesinghe continue receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, Prison Media Spokesperson Jagath Weerasinghe stated that it is unlikely former President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be produced in court today (26), following medical advice to keep him under observation in the intensive care unit.

He added that if the Magistrate orders former President Wickremesinghe to attend the proceedings via ZOOM, the necessary arrangements can be made.
