Sri Lanka, Jan. 1 -- The Central Environmental Authority (CEA) has urged the public to dispose of electronic waste (E-waste) responsibly to protect the environment and public health. Members of the public are advised to store E-waste safely until it can be properly handed over for disposal.
E-waste can be submitted through collection campaigns organized by the CEA and other institutions, or directly at authorized E-waste management centers in the Western Province.
A comprehensive list of authorized E-waste management facilities is available online through the official CEA web portal, ensuring residents can safely dispose of electronic items in an environmentally friendly manner.
