Sri Lanka, March 5 -- The private bus service operating under the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority will be integrated with digital technology in line with the Government's digitalization move.

Chairman of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority, Leelananda Kalutota said that under the first phase of the project private buses operating on Kegalle - Ratnapura road will be implemented with GPS technology. Under this, as a basic element of this digitization project, the introduction of the ticket machines monitored through GPS technology and payment cards for fuel associated with state and private banks were introduced.
