Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will lay the foundation stones tomorrow (16) for four hospital development projects costing Rs. 7.148 billion. The projects aim to strengthen the health system and expand treatment services in the Northern, North Central and Eastern Provinces.

The projects, supported by the Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) and the Indian Government, include two fully equipped cardiac treatment complexes and two other specialised treatment facilities.

Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, other Ministers and Parliamentarians, Provincial Governors and several others will attend the ceremonies.
