Sri Lanka, Oct. 24 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake emphasized that while discussions and disagreements may arise on political or economic matters, there can be no further debate when it comes to fulfilling the national responsibility of eradicating the drug menace from the country. The President stressed the need for the entire nation to unite in this urgent mission.

President Dissanayake made these remarks while participating in a meeting held this afternoon (23) at the Presidential Secretariat to brief heads of media institutions on the 'Nation United - National Drive, to eradicate the drug menace.
