Sri Lanka, Aug. 21 -- Postal trade unions involved in the ongoing strike have begun a satyagraha in front of the Central Postal Exchange in Colombo.

Representatives from several trade unions are reported to be participating in the protest. Members of the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP), including FSP Propaganda Secretary Duminda Nagamuwa, have also joined the demonstration.

Due to the satyagraha that started this morning (22), special police security has been deployed around the Central Postal Exchange.
