Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- Police spokesperson Assistant Superintendent Udaya Kumara Wootler told the media that efforts are currently underway to bring back 30 organised criminals who have fled the country and are involved in various crimes here while residing abroad.

He also said that these 30 criminals have been issued red notices by the Interpol.

The Police spokesperson also stated that during this year alone, 17 organised criminals who were abroad and who had been issued red notices by the Interpol have been brought back to this country.
