Sri Lanka, Dec. 26 -- A team of Police officers from Siripura have arrested 2 persons with 3 locally made firearms, in a raid conducted in the areas of Siripura and Miwathpura. A Police officer in the raiding party said that the persons arrested by the police officers had used these firearms to hunt animals.

Police say that the persons arrested are residents of Badhanagala and Miwathpura villages in Siripura Police Division.
