Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- The importance of formulating a new Policy by identifying new trends and current needs was discussed at the National Higher Education Policy Development Committee meeting held at the Education Ministry, under the patronage of Prime Minister, and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
The Committee focused on formulating a comprehensive National Policy for the Higher Education sector. The meeting emphasised the importance of ensuring alignment between National Education innovation priorities, global standards, and local needs.
