Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- Sri Lanka's reigning amateur champion Chanaka Perera of Sitrek Group produced a steady round to rise to the top of the overall leaderboard, while Kaya Daluwatte maintained her lead in the women's category as 18 golfers made the cut at the end of the second round of the Sri Lanka Golf October Ranking Tournament held at the Victoria Golf Resort in Digana, Kandy yesterday.

On the par-73 course, the two-time national amateur champion Perera carded one-over-par 74, bringing his total gross score to 147, just one stroke ahead of Day 1 leader and professional golfer Vijitha Bandara, who slipped with a four-over-par 77 for a total of 148.
