Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- The Peradeniya University has been ranked first in Sri Lanka according to the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). Under this classification, the University holds the 1,548th position globally.Travel Guides & Travelogues

It also secured the top spot among Sri Lankan universities in the latest 2026 rankings released by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).

The University administration said this achievement is the result of the collective dedication of academic staff, researchers, students, non-academic staff, and its alumni community.
