Sri Lanka, July 7 -- People's Bank organised a series of meritorious activities in Anuradhapura to commemorate Poson Poya.

As part of the programme, for the 43rd consecutive year, People's Bank offered Heel Dana to over 25,000 devotees observing Sil at the sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi premises.

In addition, for the 20th consecutive year, the Bank conducted the revered 'Poson Bodhu Gee Saraniya' at the Ruwanweli Maha Seya.

The programme was organised in keeping with People's Bank's longstanding tradition of supporting national and religious observances while fostering the aesthetic talents of its staff members.
