Sri Lanka, April 16 -- The Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development has announced that passengers travelling from Galle and Matara to Makumbura following the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season can now reserve bus tickets online.

The Ministry stated that commuters are able to book seats by scanning the QR code provided in the official announcement.

In addition, tickets can be reserved through the official website, www.busticket.gov.lk, or by contacting the hotline on 011 200 1266.
