Sri Lanka, June 12 -- Transport and Highways Deputy Minister Dr. Prasanna Gunasena yesterday informed Parliament that loss-making operations across several Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) depots are primarily driven by their rural locations, which naturally result in lower daily passenger traffic and fewer daily bus services.
Responding to a question raised by SJB MP Kins Nelson, he stated that steps have been taken to follow a systematic procedure for this purpose.
