Sri Lanka, June 29 -- The Sri Lanka Police has urged the public to make use of its online 'Tell IGP' platform, which enables both local and overseas individuals to submit complaints and information directly to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) as part of efforts to strengthen public access to policing services.

Police said the service, which has been restructured and enhanced for 2026, allows complaints to be lodged in Sinhala, Tamil or English from anywhere in the world.

The platform can be used to report organised crime, drug trafficking, criminal offences, traffic violations, corruption, misuse of public property, public nuisance and other matters requiring police attention.
