Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- One person has died and five others have been hospitalised following a wasp attack in a Lindula estate.
When inquired about the incident, an officer from the Lindula Police stated that a group of workers employed at a tea estate in Lindula was attacked by wasps on Friday.
As a result, a 65-year-old man died and five others sustained injuries and were admitted to the Lindula Divisional Hospital.
The officer also mentioned that among the admitted victims, three were in critical condition, prompting officials at the Lindula Divisional Hospital to transfer them to the Nuwara Eliya General Hospital for further treatment.
