Srilanka, Oct. 11 -- The body of one of the two children who had been swept away by a water current while bathing in the Mahaweli River in the Tennekumbura area on October 8 had been found yesterday morning, washed ashore on the banks of the Victoria Reservoir in the Haragama Sadella area, about five kilometers downstream.

Ravindran Jegadeesh, fourteen years old and Mohamed Rifkan Mohamed, thirteen years old, residents of Ampitiya Road, Tennekumbura, had been reported missing by their parents, to the Kandy Police.Police investigations revealed that the two had been bathing in the Mahaweli River in the Tennekumbura area.
