Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- The Colombo Magistrate's Court today (20) issued a notice ordering former Minister Rajitha Senaratne to appear before the court on August 29. An arrest warrant had already been issued against him in connection with an investigation by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

Yesterday (19), a petition filed by Senaratne seeking a temporary suspension of the arrest warrant was rejected by the Colombo Additional Magistrate.
