Sri Lanka, May 4 -- The Media Spokesman for former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Attorney-at-law Manoj Gamage, said yesterday (03) that the Bribery Commission has not yet issued any official notification or summons to the former President to provide a statement regarding the Airbus deal.

In response to inquiries, former Minister Priyankara Jayaratne also stated that he has received no notification regarding this matter.

Gamage remarked that instead of informing the individual when summoning them for an incident, the authorities seem to be informing their 'friendly media' outlets first, which he claimed clearly demonstrates the underlying intent of these actions.
