No crime will be allowed to be buried - President
Sri Lanka, June 26 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake emphasised that bringing to justice those who stole public property through fraud and corruption had long been an expectation of the people of this country and that the present Government is one that is fulfilling that public expectation.
The President further stressed that no crime would be allowed to be buried in the sands of time and that the Government would discharge its responsibility to bring offenders properly before the law.
The President made these remarks while participating in the Adjournment Debate on Combatting the Drug Menace in Parliament yesterday morning (25).
