Sri Lanka, Jan. 7 -- The Academic Advisory Board of the National Institute of Education has approved the removal of a controversial module from the Grade 6 English curriculum.

Education Minister and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya announced the decision in Parliament today, confirming that the approval was granted yesterday, January 6.
